Product Development and Technical Support Manager (crop protection)
International Company is searching for a Product Development and Technical Support Manager for Russia and CIS.
Responsibilities:
- Management and optimization of the registration portfolio in Russia and CIS.
- Search for new opportunities for registration and evaluation of recipes.
- Audit and evaluation of existing registrations.
- Analysis of promising recipes for registration.
- Product Development Planning (PDP).
- Coordination and implementation of products-related sales promotion programs.
- Providing training and technical support to new and existing customers.
- Organization of demonstration tests and coordination with the interested party.
- Providing specialized, pragmatic and effective advice to agribusiness clients based on
successful strategies and value chain development models appropriate to the context of the
region. - Participation in knowledge creation (demonstration trials, etc.), supply chain analysis, policy
reviews, and other analytical support services related to the creation of competitive value chains
of goods. - Develop and manage special projects as needed, including research assignments, presentations
and project documents for marketing and communications, market entry and business
development initiatives. - Regular monitoring of competitors' activity.
- Act as the key liaison between the Indian regulatory/technical team and the Russian/CIS
authorities, ensuring timely exchange of documents, data, and updates for ongoing registrations - Support for planning, preparation, submission, and follow-up of registration dossiers required by
regional authorities. - Ensure full compliance with changing regulatory frameworks in Russia CIS; continuously
monitor new laws, amendments, and guidelines related to pesticides, fertilizers, bio stimulants,
and biologicals. - Assist in forecasting regulatory budgets, timelines, and resource requirements for the region.
- Maintain updated regulatory databases and tracking sheets for all ongoing and planned
registrations, renewals, amendments, and label changes.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Agriculture / Agronomic education or similar field
- Minimum 10+ years of experience
- In-depth understanding of the Russian agrochemical market, regulatory landscape, and
consumer behavior. - Ready to travel
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-cultural collaboration skills
