Medical Manager (no subordinates)
An International pharmaceutical company is looking for a Medical Manager.
Requirements
o Higher Medical or Pharmacy background, PhD in Medicine or Biology desirable will be preferable
o From 7 years of experience in a pharmaceutical industry, including at least 5 years as Medical Advisor in pharmaceuticals company
o Articulate and well read with excellent communication and presentation skills
o Diversified background in different therapeutic area, including high- scientific areas
o Excellent analytical abilities
o Excellent understanding of both medical and regulatory environment
o Thorough understanding of country Pharma industry and competitor products
o Pleasing personality, assertive profile with good inter-personal skills and hands on approach
o Self starter / High on Team Working / Influencing skills / Maturity
o Fluent English – Upper –Intermediate (writing, reading, speaking and listening)
Job duties
1. External customer's engagement
o Develops SL map and development plans for Federal SL in respective Therapeutic Area (TA)
o Identifies, develops and improve relationship with SL and key external customers (incl all types of healthcare organizations); engage in medical & scientific dialogue to support Glenmark TAs, products, studies and projects
o Delivers medical information to the customers in various formats: deliver lectures and conduct medical and scientific sessions in a small or large events (round tables, conferences etc), F2F discussions, provides and discusses responses to Medical Information Queries (MIQs) etc.
o Provide input for Advisory Board (identification of clinical care gaps for Ad Board experts)
o Support the development of scientific and medical advocates to further disseminate scientific, medical and clinical knowledge
o Identify scientific questions and increase awareness of unmet medical needs
o Generate SL interest in discussing therapy/disease/product, clinical guidelines within Glenmark TA/AoI; translating into better patient treatment & care
o Represent the Medical Department at Medical Congresses.
2. IIS studies
o Identify unmet medical/scientific needs and/or clinical studies opportunities through discussions with SLs for further elaboration
o Evaluate and discuss study concepts and proposals, present and discuss IISP Areas of Interest
o Work in close collaboration with internal Team and investigators.
3. Internal support and interaction
o Provides the medical and scientific input in the development of marketing strategy
o Become the expert for specific TAs and products in order to support internal customers, interact and communicate effectively with Marketing managers, Regulatory and Business development departments
o Interact and communicate effectively
4. MAM Responsibilities
o Act with ethics & integrity; provide non-promotional, balanced, reliable and scientific information to SLs, follow strictly the local regulation (if any) regarding off label discussions
o Comply with both local and international law and regulations, SOPs, corporate/country governance; attend and comply with corporate/specific trainings
o Give the input in the development of marketing strategy
o Keep abreast of disease area/product knowledge; attend National and regional Russian Conferences.
o Delivery presentations related with advances in disease knowledge, diagnostics and treatment, of competitor as well as own products. Create and deliver presentation with new information on our products
