ABAP Team leader

We are looking for ABAP Team leader for remote work in our client, a leading international tobacco company.

Main Responsibilities:

Preparation and updating of corporate rules and requirements for programming in SAP environments
Managing an external development team. (Interviewing candidates, assignment of tasks, quality control of program code before transferring to quality control systems)
Cooperation with 3rd level of support functional consultants’ team
ABAP support for custom historical SAP programs in several legal entities
Interacting with the Architects, Analysts and other IT delivery teams to understand the functional requirements
Developing and implementing changes/enhancements using ABAP technology and small change aligned to SAP standard
Providing technical input to projects delivering SAP changes to support initial project planning and estimation process
Developing ABAP solutions as per the design document requirements (workflow and PI for interfaces)
Security controls execution.

Requirements:

University degree.
More than 6 years of experience in ABAP Development consulting or support.
Good knowledge and understanding of SAP ERP ECC 6/0 and SAP HCM
Good knowledge of ABAP code reading, tracing.
Knowledge of SAP integration points technology (IDOC, API, BAPI)
Advanced level in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Verbal and written English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Outstanding collaboration and communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts for technical use (for IT stakeholders) and general use (for business stakeholders)
Experience in external partners management or in informal team management
Strategic thinking, challenging status quo, problem solving
