Extraction Software Architect
International startup (EDA development, semiconductors) is looking for Extraction Software Architect.
This individual will be part of a team of technical experts creating the next-generation 3D parasitic extraction product.
Requirement:
- MS degree with > 10 years EDA experiences
- or PhD with > 5 years EDA experiences required
- Prefer numerical methods with emphasis on acceleration techniques using distributed processing or multi-threading or GPU CUDA to solve complex functions
- Expert in computational geometry techniques and algorithms to develop next-generation parasitic extraction field solvers
- Prefer an expert in design, DFM of EDA for the execution of projects where machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data analytics are used to improve efficiencies and accuracies, and design, implement and optimize cloud-based systems used in application projects of our EDA infrastructure
- Deep understanding of RC extraction is a must. Expertise in C++ with thread-safe coding principles and creation of data structures that can be deployed in an extraction flow of semiconductor design
Good to have:
- Parasitic extraction modeling
- Distributed processing
- Field solver technology
- Understanding of signoff analysis for both RC extraction and timing analysis
- Experience with GPU CUDA and GBM/Random Forest Regressors
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques, especially for EDA software and algorithms, is a plus
