Accountant AR
Western FMCG company invites Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Control of overdue customers balances and conducting of weekly meetings with stakeholders
- To be in close communication with Key Account Managers and Customer service specialists and accounting dept. of customers re. documents missed / required from customers and overdue balances
- Control, check and methodological support of outsourcing company regarding Fixed assets accounting, AR accounting
- Control of advances paid to vendors and requesting of the closing documents / weekly
- Control of posting /write off by external outsourcing provider of the free of charge POSm to expenses, preparation of reports and internal acts\orders for arrangement of the documents
- Control of stock Reconciliation between warehouse data and SAP modules (performed by logistic department) within month end closing procedure
- Stock Reconciliation between SAP MM and FI modules within month end closing procedure
- Check of bonuses calculation, services, fines provided by customers (including documents)
- Work with documents of accounting department suppliers (PO creation to payment)
- Control, check of timely posting into SAP by outsourcing provider of incoming payments (advances, post-payments, clearing) and other related accounting questions
- Check the reconciliation with counterparties performed by outsourcing provider
- Participation in month end closing procedure
- Accruals for expenses calculation and booking on monthly basis
- Annual Participation in stock taking (wholesale, retail stores)
- Sales ledger preparation (monthly), outgoing VAT invoices print out and signing
- Government Statistics reports preparing quarterly Preparation of files and docs for Tax audits, external PWC and internal audits requests
- Participation in SAP projects
- Follow company procedures and policies in daily work
- Other proper accounting work under request of Chief Accountant
- ME closing activities, reconciliations of accounts
- Work in SAP
Requirements:
- Higher education 5 years of work experience with multinational FMCG company in similar position, preferably in foreign companies
- Experience in work with accruals according to IFRS standards is an advantage
- Good knowledge of Russian Accounting Standards (majorly: commercial expenses, VAT, A&P expenses)
- Knowledge of IFRS\GAAP is a plus
- Certificate of professional accountant is a plus
- Good knowledge of SAP ERP system is a plus
- Strong Computer Skills (Excel)
- Working English knowledge (written, verbal) is a must
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work with big volumes of information and documentation
- Ability to work in multitask environment
- Team player
