Altic IT is a young, fast-growing technology company specializing in data platform, artificial intelligence (DI), machine learning (ML) and analytics solutions that it designs, implements and develops for its customers in the Baltics and Scandinavia. Among the company's customers are the largest telecommunications, logistics, e-mail. trade, financial services companies and public sector organizations. The company offers its customers solutions based on advanced IT software, based on cloud computing, which are tailored to the needs of a specific customer's business, using big data analytics, DI and ML solutions.
The company employs about 40 specialists, and the volume of activities is approximately doubling during the year.
Data Platform Architect
- Has at least 3 years of experience in designing, implementing and maintaining large data collection, processing and storage solutions (data lake, data warehouse) based on cloud computing technologies
- Has been involved in projects migrating a data platform running on a client infrastructure to a cloud computing solution (MS Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform)
- Has been involved in large data platform development and deployment projects in organizations with more than 150 employees, leading and coordinating teams of IT architects and DevOps
- Has knowledge and experience working with Hadoop, big data, real time data collection and management solutions (Kafka, Kinesis), Ranger and Solar
- Programming skills in Java, Python and Spark
- Has a good understanding of business needs in the field of data collection and processing, has been involved in the development and implementation of data products
- Familiarity with modern data modeling and management concepts and tools (data mesh, domain driven design, data catalog, etc.)
- Fluent in English
