IP Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Onsite work orders processing in the region;
- Commissioning and configuration management of the network equipment;
- Customer service configuration/implementation;
- Maintenance and control of network documentation;
- Communication with customers, partners and staff in terms of technical aspects;
- Ensure control and inventory management on a regular basis for continuous operation maintenance of the network facility.
Job requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Engineering, Telecommunication, Networking;
- Configuration experience of routers and switches on existing environment;
- Comprehensive hands-on experience with Juniper base networks (routers MX series, switches EX/QFX, SRXs);
- Work experience in *unix environment;
- English - fluent;
- Good communication skills and ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment;
- A desire to learn and collaborate with various associates across the business and countries and share knowledge with other team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Network certificate, JNCIA or higher (JNCIS, CCNP);
- Knowledge of hardware and software features of various Juniper Networks equipment, including, but not limited to: MX-series, EX-series, QFX-Series, SRX-series;
- Understanding of network technologies and protocols: OSPF, BGP, VLAN, LLDP, Q-in-Q, LACP, LDP, RSVP-TE, L2VPN, L3VPN, VRF;
- Understanding of DWDM technologies: coherent DWDM networks, OTN, FlexGrid;
- Work experience with AC/DC power systems.
