Our collaboration with ANCOR for outplacement services started in 2019, after IKEA announced new structure integration in Russia. We were developing supporting programs for laid off employees, helping them to go through transition, being psychologically comfortable and optimistically looking forward. We contacted ANCOR for services oriented on employees’ care: help with resume building, training for job interviews and psychological support. This matches our company values and its approach to staff management. IKEA’s specialty is that most employees have been working for the company over 10-15 years. Before outplacement programs implementation, in-house Human Resources specialists were working with laid off employees. Outplacement allowed the company to place laid off employees into professional hands, provided fast reaction to employee’s requests regarding job searches and made possible redeployment of our Human Resources in the most effective way
